Auteur d'une saison 2008/2009 très décevante, Rafael Van der Vaart honorera-t-il la saison prochaine son contrat avec le Real Madrid, qui court jusqu'en 2013 ?

Après l'intérêt du Bayern Munich et de Chelsea, voici en tout cas qu'un nouveau prétendant, l'Ajax Amsterdam, fait des avances à celui que la presse Madrilène n'a jamais pu appeler cette saison Van der Cra*k. Ancien club du milieu Batave, l'Ajax vient d'engager récemment Martin Jol, l'ancien coach de VDV à Hambourg. Dans des propos accordés au quotidien Bild, Jol a fait part de son envie de revoir Van der Vaart porter le maillot de l'Ajax : « Je suis régulièrement en contact avec lui. J'ai un grand respect pour ce joueur et je sais que sa situation au Real est compliquée. Si le Real le laisse partir, il y a des possibilités qu'il vienne à l'Ajax » a lancé Jol. A un an de la Coupe du Monde, Van der Vaart est à l'heure d'un choix très important pour sa carrière : s'imposer au Real, ce qui semble à première vue compliqué, ou rejoindre un autre club pour jouer.

A demi-mot, Adriano Galliani a reconnu ce lundi que les chances de voir Kaka à l'AC Milan la saison prochaine étaient minces.

Suite à la nomination de Carlo Ancelotti à Chelsea, le club Londonien est redevenu un prétendant sérieux à l'acquisition du Ballon d'Or Brésilien, à l'heure où il se murmure que Florentino Pérez pourrait le présenter ce jeudi à Madrid. Lors de la présentation aujourd'hui du nouvel entraîneur du Milan, l'ancien Valencian Leonardo, le bras droit de Berlusconi a ainsi reconnu que « deux grands clubs Européens sont intéressés par Kaka » avant d'ajouter que le Milan ferait tout « pour essayer de retenir Kaka, mais aussi Pato, même si la concurrence dans le dossier Kaka est déloyale ». Milan, Chelsea ou le Real, le futur club de Kaka devrait se trouver dans ce trio.

"President of Honor of Real Madrid, Alfredo di Stefano. President Vicente Boluda. Authorities. Friends. Good afternoon and thank you for being here on such an important day.

This is an event of great importance to us all. It is a matter of managing the most prestigious sports institution in the world for the next four years. It is an honor and a tremendous responsibility. We know what we are getting into and what is expected of us. We will work as hard as we can to live up to the challenges that lay ahead.

We must recover the dreams, stability and lost time. Real Madrid must dismiss all doubts in the pursuit of the goal that has always gone hand in hand with its spirit: work at all times to be considered the Best Club of the 21st Century. It will be this Board of Directors' obsession to meet that challenge.

We arrive with all the humility in the world and aware that we must overcome great obstacles. We also arrive at a complicated time for the world. The road ahead will be difficult, but we have the passion and necessary ideas to overcome the great challenges of this complicated time.

We have only had a few days to explain to our members and supporters the why and how Real Madrid will recover the values that have converted it into legend, as well as to develop a financial-sporting model that will continue remaining faithful to our history.

We want to return Real Madrid to where it belongs and we will work feverishly, calmly and patiently while carefully taking into account every minute detail. Our Club has been, and is, essential to the history of Football, which is why it must always be a model.
