Tout comme Final Fantasy Agito XIII, Parasite Eve : The Third Birthday était à l'origine un projet sur téléphone mobile. Et tout comme FF Agito XIII, il a finalement été annoncé sur PlayStation Portable par Square Enix ce week-end. Dans ce troisième épisode (qui est plutôt un spin-off d'ailleurs), Aya Brea et l'équipe du CTI devront lutter contre une créature appelée Twisted, qui ravage Manhattan après être sorti d'une contorsion temporelle.
